FAQ

Q: Does the 3.5″ U/W color monitor accept an HD signal?

A: No, the monitor only accepts SD (Standard Definition, NTSC/PAL) signals either directly from the camera or through a down converter.

Q: Does the monitor come with a down converter?

A: No, but they are available as an optional accessory if you don’t have your own.

Q: How is the down converter powered?

A: With a D-Tap power cord; you must have a power source with a female D-Tap connector inside the T-bag in-order to use our down converter.

Q: How is the monitor powered?

A: With 4 AA batteries.

Q: How long do the batteries last?

A: Regular batteries( eg. Energizer or Duracell) last approximately 30 minutes, Lithium batteries can last up to 4 hours approximately.

Q: Why don’t I see an image on my monitor?

A: First check the batteries, if you see a flashing RED light in the battery compartment you need to replace the batteries. Second, check your camera signal and/or down converter. Thirdly, check the Contrast, Color and Brightness control knobs located inside the battery compartment.
