The ASL Scubacam housing is a custom made, submersible and versatile splashbag for use with a wide range of different larger cameras such as the Alexa 35 and Sony Venice, also great for accommodating longer lenses. It comes with a 3G-SDI waterproof, external 5.6″ viewfinder monitor which is powered from a D-Tap either off of the camera’s battery or off of a seperate battery inside the splashbag. Optionally available a-la-carte are 30m cables for an HD-SDI surface feed, Preston LCS Input / ARRI WCU-4 / Hi-5. There is a also quick-release camera plate with 15/19mm rod holder inside the splashbag as well as an external, bottom mounted dovetail plate for attaching the included handgrip handlebar assembly or shoulder pad, there are also threaded taps to mount to an underwater lowboy/hi-hat or remote head, crane, etc. The housing also has an optional Air Jet System for blowing water from the front glass port(requires a separate air supply and hose/regulator setup for a scuba tank or compressed air source). There’s also an adjustable air release valve which variably releases internal air to allow for controlled submerging. A French flag eyebrow is also included. Internally located audible leak alarm powered by a standard 9v battery. Flatport glass.
