U2 – Elevation “Bono Cam” 2001
Before GoPro, ASL was tasked to wire up U2’s lead singer Bono’s special edition glasses for a epic first person view of the lead singer of the number 1 band in the world. Armed with the technology back in the day, Bono wore a custom made vest, which included the camera electronics, transmission systems, and 2 NP-1 Batteries. All being recorded on a Mini DV-deck backstage by rig designer Anthony Lenzo.
